The Person of Peter

To understand the writings of Peter we must know the person of Peter. He is the most written about Apostles in the Gospels. His life wasn't perfect. He failed in a lot of ways, but when the Holy Spirit came at Pentecost, Peter became the "Rock" solid leader Jesus said he would be to build the church. Peter's failures were not the end of his story and neither are yours. God can use the sinner who repents, deny themselves, and put their faith in the work of Jesus and follow Him.
