Patience is a hard characteristic to attain. It is received by way of trials. Trials of all kinds as James 1:2 points out. This is why a person needs to put their faith in Jesus Christ and His work on the cross in order to be given the Holy Spirit. The Spirit produces fruit a person cannot produce on their own. When a Christian walks with the Spirit, He will work through us to respond to life and to people the right way. In order to do this, we need God's patience.

God is patient. Sin deserves punishment. In fact, sin deserves quick punishment. However, our God waits patiently. We cannot mistake His patience for forgiveness. Sin has to be judged by God. However, God waits patiently for sinners to repent, turn away, and come to saving faith in Christ. In this message, Pastor Mike will teach us about God's patience and how ultimately His patience is demonstrated.
